大埔騎單車作公益

【李宗祐／嘉義報導】「2013騎趣西拉雅-大埔瘋單車」活動，將於11月16至17日在大埔鄉舉行。交通部觀光局西拉雅管理處發起為愛「兒」騎募款活動，號召500位民眾做公益，凡17日帶鐵馬來現場報名參加踩街，主辦單位就捐100元，另太平洋自行車博物館也捐出折疊式單車義賣，所得款項將一併捐給慈善團體購買自行車，轉送生活困苦兒童使用，讓活動辦得更有意義。
 
管理處長廖源隆表示，有很多貧困家庭的子女需要單車代步卻無車可騎，故而發起這個募款活動，號召大家來大埔為愛「兒」騎，屆時捐款將用來購買單車送給偏鄉的貧困小孩，藉此將騎單車的快樂分享出去。
