近來美股火熱，近日道瓊指數已經漲破 16000 點，華頓商學院 (Wharton School) 教授 Jeremy Siegel 更預測以未來獲利預估道瓊指數值得站上 18000 點。

《CNBC》報導，Siegel 接受採訪時表示，他預估道瓊指數值得 18000 點，但這並不代表股市馬上就會漲到 18000 點，或是股市就會一路直線上漲，他認為市場還有好一段路要走，不過他也補充，他不認為牛市現階段已經結束，之後應該還會有不錯的漲幅。

今年一月時 Siegel 預測今年年底前道瓊指數將站上 16000 點，預言果然成真，上周四道瓊收漲突破 16000 點，S&P 500 指數隔日也首度收高於 1800 點之上。

Siegel 指出，今年企業獲利較去年多出約 10-12%，就當前經濟緩慢成長的狀況而言，算是相當不錯的表現。
