金鶯隊陳偉殷台北時間24日凌晨對光芒隊先發，他難得得到隊友的火力支援，但這次卻是總教練Buck Showalter沒挺他，金鶯隊雖然領先，但殷仔投不滿5局退場，失去拚勝投的機會，光芒隊James Loney在9局下代打，轟出再見彈（本季第13轟），5比4勝金鶯，金鶯4連戰皆輸。
Buck Showalter的決定確實讓陳偉殷很傷，但球季已接近尾聲，金鶯隊要拚季後賽還有最後一線生機，加上對手又是主要競爭者光芒隊，為避免4戰都輸球，遭橫掃，Buck Showalter不得不痛下決心，讓殷仔失去拚勝投的機會，繼續悲情。
要拚進季後賽，光芒隊總教練Joe Maddon換投也很果斷，5局上金鶯1出局後，光芒隊換下先發投手Chris Archer，接著連續動用3名牛棚投手壓制金鶯隊的火力，從這裡即可看出，光芒隊已將此戰當作季後賽在打了。
跟前幾戰一樣，陳偉殷此戰仍有不錯的球速，最快94哩，但用球數太多，投4.1局用了83球，49球好球，2局下光芒隊Wil Myers先敲安打，Delmon Young獲保送，Yunel Escobar打出三壘方向滾地球，金鶯三壘手Manny Machado想策動雙殺沒成功，只讓跑向二壘的Delmon Young出局，Wil Myers上三壘，Tim Beckham的高飛犧牲打，送回光芒隊第1分。
不過今天金鶯隊打擊群很幫忙，4局上Chris Davis轟出2分彈（本季第52轟），接著Nick Markakis、J.J Hardy連敲安打，打回第3分，但陳偉殷4局下又被光芒隊Tim Beckham、Jose Molina連敲安打失掉第2分。
金鶯隊Brian Roberts在5局上轟出陽春砲（本季第6轟），取得4比2的領先。 (接下一頁)
